• Now that performances are over, band members should take their instruments home for the summer. This would be a great time to clean and repair your instruments! If you can practice just a couple times a week, you will help give the band a terrific head start for the new year.

• How did you get that grade last quarter? What can you do to improve your grade next quarter? Read the Grading Rubrics for Band, a table form of the priorities and guidelines for a terrific grade. There are very few similar guidelines available; this is a completely original document, so I would appreciate some feedback.

• The Sonja Kitchell Band features Ben Jaffe (Class of 2003) on drums. They performed at the Iron Horse Music Hall in Northampton on Friday, Novmber 15.
