Mt. Greylock Regional School District does not exclude any person from scholarship application on account of race, color, sexual preference, religion, national origin or disability.

BE AWARE OF SCHOLARSHIP DEADLINES. If your scholarship application requires a transcript and/or counselor recommendation, you MUST bring your application into the guidance office at least one week prior to the deadline to ensure time for processing and mailing. Most organizations have specific guidelines and very firm deadlines and will not consider any late or incomplete applications.

UNICO Baseball/Softball Scholarship candidates must have been a member of a junior varsity or varsity baseball or softball team for a minimum of one season. May 1

The Kermit Gordon Scholarship is offered to students intending a career in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, health and health science-related programs. May 1

The Berkshire Medical Center Nursing Scholarship is available to students pursuing a Bachelor in Nursing degree and is based on financial need, superior academic performance, commitment to nursing, and potential for success in nursing. May 1

Berkshire County Selectmen’s Association Scholarship will be awarded to a senior from the county who will be pursuing a career in government or politics. May 1

Thomas Janeczek Memorial Scholarships are available to a senior boy and girl who exhibit personal drive and compassion, involvement in sports, peer team and other extra-curricular activities. May 1

Williamstown Rural Lands Foundation Mathias J. Bartels Environmental Leadership Award is for a student who has demonstrated a strong interest in environmental issues through academic pursuits and/or extracurricular activities. May 1

Mass. Garden Club Scholarships are available for students majoring in horticulture, floriculture, landscape design, conservation, forestry, agronomy, city planning, environmental concerns, land management, botany, biology, and other allied subjects. May 1 deadline

South Mountain Association Scholarship applicants must be studying to pursue a professional career in violin, viola, or cello. May 1

The Stephen Phillips Memorial Charitable Trust Scholarship is available to seniors with demonstrated need, superior (top 20%, 3.0 GPA, 1000 SAT) academic achievement, record of citizenship, serious-mindedness. May 1 deadline. Apply online at www.phillips-scholarship.org.

Allen Danaher Memorial Scholarship is given to a senior entering the field of culinary arts, graphic arts, or fine arts. May 1

The William Stanley Scholarship Fund awards a scholarship to a senior who demonstrates strong academics (top 20%, 1000 SAT, 3.0 GPA), community service, and financial need (FAFSA). May 1

2004 Stanley Z. Koplik Certificate of Mastery awards tuition waivers to Mass. public universities and state colleges and community colleges based on Advanced scores on the MCAS and a combination of SAT II and/or AP scores. The New England Counselors of Color Bridging Access to College (NECBAC) Scholarship is geared to students of color planning to attend two- or four-year college. Students with a strong academic record and outstanding school/community service can find the application online at www.necbac.com. May 14 deadline.

Mass. Flower Growers’ Assoc. Scholarship sponsors a scholarship for the study of floriculture, horticulture, and related agricultural sciences. May 15 deadline.

Mass. Arborists Assoc. & UMass/Stockbridge School offer scholarships to full-time enrollees in the urban forestry program at UMass Amherst or the arboriculture and park management program at the Stockbridge School of Agriculture. May 15 deadline

Price Chopper Associate Scholarship Program is offered to all part-time PC associates who are juniors or seniors planning to attend college. June 1

National Italian American Sports Hall of Fame of Mass. Scholarship is open to all seniors based on financial need, academic ability, athletic and leadership involvement. June 15

UNICO Scholarship for Continuing Education applications are available to seniors of Italian origin who will attend college and have submitted a FAFSA. June 18

Eastern States Exposition Scholarship is available to any student residing in Western Mass. who participated in the Eastern States Exposition youth program and is accepted at or attending a two- or four-year accredited higher education institution. June 30 deadline.

Williamstown Lions Club is offering a four-year scholarship to Williamstown residents based on academic excellence, leadership and need. Application deadline is May 21.

Excelsior Printing Co. Benevolent Fund Scholarship is available to students who have a relative that is employed by Excelsior at Curran Highway and is a member of their benevolent fund. Contact Mrs. Gill ASAP.

BCARC Scholarships are available to seniors pursuing undergraduate education in the field of human services and related programs (psychology, social work, special education, rehabilitation counseling, etc.). May 21 deadline.

Nicole Wilson Beebe Memorial Scholarship is offered by the Junior League to a female senior who has demonstrated outstanding volunteer community service during her high school career. May 14
